Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I claim compensation for flights affected by strikes?

While delayed flights due to strikes happen quite frequently, it’s not always possible to get compensation. You can only claim for strike-related delayed flights if it’s the airline workers that are on strike, not the airport’s. Even in that case, it may be harder to get compensation.

  • How long does the compensation claim process take?

If there are no disputes and the airline accepts responsibility, it usually takes up to 8 weeks. In other cases, the process can extend to several months, for example, additional documentation or clarification can be required for international flights.

  • What if the airline rejects my compensation claim?

If the airline rejects your claim, contact Skycop to get professional help and additional support for your case. In many cases, rejections can be disputed.
