Check If Your SAS Flight Is Affected by the Pilot Strike
SAS pilots are striking, check if your flight is affected.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines pilots in Norway, Sweden and Denmark are on strike. The carrier had to cancel around 70% per cent of its flights, affecting about 170,000 passengers (if the strikes continue during the weekend). Currently, it is possible to check if your flight disrupted on SAS website.
As always, air passengers suffering from these cancelled flights should know that they have rights granted to them under Regulation (EC) 261/2004. The airline has to provide you with free meals and drinks. You should also be allowed to make two free calls, use email or send a free fax. If you have to wait for the flight for one or more nights, the carrier has to provide you with free accommodation at a hotel, including transport to/from the airport. In case they’re unable/unwilling to do this, save the receipts: all “rational” expenses (no VIP penthouses, caviar or limos) should be refunded afterwards.
Furthermore, these strikes seem like they’re claimable under (EC) 261/2004. This means that you can get up to €600 in cancelled flight compensation! For more information about flight cancellation compensation (heh, it rhymes), check here.
Strikes are not unusual in aviation. For example, the Easter period travel was disrupted by unionized strikes at some airports. Wide-raging transport strikes in countries like France are liable to affect aviation. And of course, nothing can compare to striking airline staff, which can bring down even the most stubborn airline to its knees, as it happened to Ryanair last year.
