Was your flight

Around half a million flights are delayed or cancelled in a month, but only a small part of affected air passengers are aware that they are entitled to compensation for the flight.

A flight is considered to be delayed if your scheduled flight arrives 3 hours later than expected.

Did you have a delayed flight? Don’t worry, because you are entitled to get up to €600 per person!

What should you do if you want to get a delayed flight compensation?

  1. Unfortunately, knowing that your flight was cancelled is not enough. You should still come to the airport and register to your flight. You will not be able to get compensation if you were not registered for the flight at the airport.
  2. If your flight was cancelled, your carrier must provide you with free meals and drinks. You should also be allowed to make two free calls, use e-mail or send a free fax. If you have to wait for the flight for one or more nights, the carrier must grant you free accommodation at a hotel, including transport to/from the airport.
  3. Don’t accept any compensations which demands you to sign away your right to seek further compensation.
  1. Send the claim for your compensation as soon as possible, because different countries have different compensation time limits.
  2. If your friends or family members were to be on same flight with you, remember that each passenger is eligible to get a compensation.
  3. If you went on a business trip and your ticket was bought by the company – don’t worry. Compensation for cancelled flight belongs to the person whose name is on the ticket.

Skycop operates under European Commission regulations

When you travel by plane, you are protected by the European regulation (EC) 261/2004. Only a small percentage of all air passengers are aware of their rights and many lack the legal knowledge to claim compensation for their delayed flights. Even when they know they can get a compensation, that’s not that easy do when one needs to convince the airlines!

What delayed flight compensation should you expect?

Flight compensation depends on many things: flight distance, delay length, weather conditions, extraordinary situations.

€ 250

If you reached your destination more than 3 hours late and travel distance was up to 1,500 km.

€ 400

If the distance was between 1 500 km and 3 500 km and you reached your destination more than 3 hours late.

€ 600

If the travel distance was over 3 500 km and you reached your destination more than 3 hours late.

Even if you are unsure, we will check the details and assess the validity of your claim.
All you need to do is enter your flight details and submit the claim – we’ll take care of the rest.

Claim for compensation

Check if EU air passenger rights apply in your case

  1. If your flight is within the EU and is operated either by an EU or a non-EU airline
  2. If your flight arrives in the EU from outside the EU and is operated by an EU airline
  3. If your flight departs from the EU to a non-EU country operated by an EU or a non-EU airline

EU means the 28 EU countries, including Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion Island, Mayotte, Saint-Martin (French Antilles), the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands as well as Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.

Ukraine, Turkey and Israel also have their regulations to protect air passenger rights.

“That is the most smoothest service I have ever used.
I have spent few minutes for filling up the details of the flight and describing the situation.
After several weeks I got an answer from the company and had money on my account in few days.
If you do not want to bother yourself with all the details and complains, just let professionals to do that for you!!
Thank you skycop for an amazing service!

“I was having major difficulties acquiring compensation from Ryanair for months without any luck. I fortunately came across Skycop whose website was really to use. The day after submitting my claim through Skycop, Ryanair contacted me and I got my compensation finally! Skycop’s customer service was really efficient and helpful. I’d highly recommend Skycop and would use them again.”
