Over the course of a month, around half a million flights are delayed or cancelled, but only a small part of the airline passengers are aware that in such cases they are entitled to compensation for the flight.

Flight delay is considered a delay if your scheduled flight arrives 3 hours later than expected.

You are entitled to compensation if:

Flight was delayed more than 3 hours

In cases where the delayed flight lasts more than 3 hours - you are able to get from 250 Eu. up to 400 Eu. flight compensation, depending on the distance of the trip.

Flight was delayed more than 4 hours

If you arrived late for more than 4 hours - you have the opportunity to get 600 Eu. flight compensation.

Flight compensation depends on the distance you plan to travel

€ 250

If you reached your destination more than 3 hours late and travel distance was up to 1,500 km

€ 400

If the distance was between 1 500 km and 3 500 km outside the EU, and you reached your destination more than 3 hours late.

€ 600

If the travel distance was over 3 500 km and you reached your destination more than 3 hours late.
