When Are You Entitled To Air India Flight Compensation?
You are entitled to Air India compensation in the following situations:
Flight Disruptions
Flight disruptions include delays, cancellations and denied boarding due to overbooking.
According to Air India flight delay policy, passengers with a flight delay of more than 3 hours can receive an Air India flight delay refund covering the cost of their ticket.
Under Regulation 261/2004, you can claim Air India flight delay compensation if:
- Your flight is delayed by more than 3 hours
- You had less than 14 days’ notice of the disruption.
If the airline loses your luggage and cannot find it within 21 days, you’re entitled to an Air India baggage damage claim.
Schedule Change
With Air India you can claim a refund if the airline changes your schedule and you no longer want to take the flight. You can claim Air India flight cancellation compensation if you received less than 14 days’ notice of the change.
Flight Cancellations
If your flight with Air India flight was cancelled you can either get a refund or rebook a flight. Passengers are eligible for Air India compensation for cancelled flights if the cancellation caused a delay of more than 3 hours and they had less than 14 days’ notice.
Extraordinary Circumstances
