When Are You Entitled To Emirates Flight Compensation?
Flight Disruptions
EC Regulation 261/2004 sets out Emirates compensation rights for passengers in the event of flight delays, cancellations or denied boarding due to overbooking.
In the event of flight delays of more than 3 hours, passengers are eligible for an Emirates delay refund.
If you are denied boarding due to overbooking, you are entitled to Emirates flight overbooked compensation.
Emirates airline delay compensation also includes reimbursement of your ticket cost if the delay lasts more than 5 hours.
Schedule Change
Emirates Airlines can change the schedule of your flight. However, they must give you at least 14 days’ notice. If not, you’re entitled to Emirates cancelled flight compensation.
Flight Cancellations
If your Emirates flight is cancelled you can get a refund for the ticket cost. You may also be eligible for an Emirates airlines compensation claim, depending on how long your trip is delayed.
If you must stay overnight as a result of your cancellation, Emirates will provide care and assistance, such as accommodation and meals.
Extraordinary Circumstances
Under EC Regulation 261/2004, airlines aren’t required to pay Emirates late flight compensation for disruptions out of their control. This could mean weather conditions or air traffic control.
