When Are You Entitled To Transavia Flight Compensation?
Flight compensation eligibility depends on the circumstances of your flight.
Flight Disruptions
You’re entitled to Transavia compensation for flight disruptions, including denied boarding, flight delays and flight cancellations.
You can get a Transavia flight refund for a delay of more than 5 hours. Submit a Transavia refund claim and the airline will reimburse you the ticket cost.
Schedule Change
If Transavia changes your schedule with less than 14 days’ notice, you’re eligible for claim compensation, except in these situations:
- 7 – 14 days’ notice
- Transavia offers a new flight with departure no earlier than 2 hours before the original departure time.
- The new flight arrives no later than 4 hours after the original arrival time.
OR
- Less than 7 days’ notice
- Transavia offers a new flight with departure no earlier than 1 hour before the original departure time.
- The new flight arrives no later than 2 hours after the original arrival time.
Flight Cancellations
If your flight is cancelled, file a Transavia refund claim to receive a Transavia cancel flight refund.
According to the Transavia delay policy, you’re not eligible for Transavia cancelled flight compensation if the airline provides at least 14 days’ cancellation notice. The above exceptions also apply here.
Extraordinary Circumstances
According to Regulation EC 261/2004, airlines aren’t required to pay compensation for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond their control, like weather conditions or political instability.
