Last Tuesday, when speaking to shareholders, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenberg denied that Boeing 737 Max was rushed to market. However, later in the week, it came to light that almost ever since the plane launched in 2017, Boeing knew that a key sensor light, warning about the pitch of the plane’s nose, only worked when airlines also bought a separate, optional feature.

Last Sunday, an Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet 100 bound for Murmansk had to return to Sheremetyevo airport after declaring an emergency. The rough landing and ensuing fire claimed 41 lives.  It is unknown what caused the crash.

An elderly Chinese flyer was arrested after he attempted to open the plane doors after it landed. Unlike the guy who recently tried to open the door in flight, he only wanted to beat the queues.

A reporter on a Ryanair flight to Malta reporter mayhem in the air. Several fights broke out during the trips and drunk passengers danced on the seats and mistreated the flight crew.

After catching flak over its uniform policy, Norwegian no longer requires it’s female flight attendants to wear heels and makeup.

Speaking of uniforms, Lion Air has suspended a pilot who attacked a hotel employee over the ironing of his uniform.
