Such assistance includes recovering compensation of up to €600 in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004 which has established common rules on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or flight delays.
The service will also help its customers to recover the unforeseen accommodation, transport or food expenses which were incurred due to the flight disruption. In the future, the company expects to give Skycop Care members even more privileges, such as lounge access while waiting for a delayed flight.

Depending on the individual travel habits, every traveller can choose one of the suggested Skycop Care plans which the service offers a 3-month, 6-month or yearly subscription. For example, a 3-month subscription is billed every quarter and – as mentioned above – offers free premium assistance in the event of flight disruption, claiming priority and 0% compensation remuneration fee when it comes to getting a flight compensation of up to €600 from an airline.
This plan costs €4.33 per month – as there is €12.99 billed every three months for such a subscription. When compared to regular fee for flight compensation remuneration -, which could be up to €200 for a single flight – most of the benefits are obvious: if, for example, there has been two disrupted flights eligible for a maximum compensation in a period of three months, the traveller saves approximately €387 on a remuneration services alone. The amount of money saved increases further with a half-a-year or yearly subscription as the probability of more disrupted flights increases over a time period along with decreasing price for a long-term subscription.
